palm springs cont'd...

There was food, drinks and desserts.  With us, there are always desserts.

We ate here..........twice.

Now, normally I don't like to frequent chain restaurants, I prefer locally owned places (like Shermans above), but this gluten-allergy can sometimes be a challenge when travelling and compromises must be made.  Luckily for me - we found one of these......

Lucky for me because they have one of these...

Did someone say chocolate?

Adorable no?  I'm thinking though, do you want be to reminded of a cow when you're eating candy?  I don't.  We downed some sugar in Palm Springs.  Oh yes indeedy we did.  Disclaimer:  the only thing in the above photos I was able to eat was the spinach - everything else was consumed by others.  I had my fair share though, don't you worry.  Can you say "See's Candies"?

OH My! OK - Dad must've had the margarita - I'm jealous! I LOVE PF Chang's - and I'm not a chain person either - but their food is exceptional and consistent. And I would eat the candy cow - but only because Moo used to be my nickname (nice huh?) not for the reasons that come to mind, but rather because I had an Ole country colleague who could not say Mah-ree-ah - but rather called me Moo - ree-ah- and the name was born!
The boys, however, are partial to those froggies!

How funny - you know I call the daughter "moo" and sometimes "moo moo", no reason, just always have. Probably those "M" names. The margarita was Andrew Henry's! Dad drinks only champagne darling. I had Sprite.

I'll take the margarita, chinese wraps and the ladybug chocolates please. Everything looks good. No food pictures at Shermans?

I'm wondering if you bought all those chocolates in those last two pictures? That's a LOT of candy. How many people did you have to eat it?
