This photo was taken in Ireland at the Rock of Cashel (on my honeymoon). Do you wish you were in Ireland today to celebrate? I've done it - it was cold. My daughter was with me, she can tell you. She's just going to miss it this year, by 3 days to be exact.
The daughter leaves on Saturday for a fun week in Ireland. She will be travelling alone- she has done this many times before - her passport is well stamped. She will be staying with, and spending the week with, our family. Still, I'm the mom, so I'll worry. It's in the mom handbook. I believe page 1 reads "Worry" - "Worry all the time". I like to follow rules.
"Pagoda" part 2 coming up later today!

Top o' the Mornin' and Happy St. Paddy's Day! Miss M have a safe a wonderful trip! We expect a photo journal! J - no worries, you have raised a quite competent young woman there. If you waste your time worrying, you will miss the time to be overjoyed for her and her return with all of those crazy family escapades that you KNOW always happen! Love you guys!
Nice photo. I've been to this very spot and I recognized it right away! I wish your daughter safe travel.
Happy St. Patty's Day all!
I am a bit jealous of the daughter right now. She is going to have a great time.
I've always wondered what it was like in Ireland on St. Patricks day. I bet it's fun, even if it is cold as you say.
It is fun! When I was there on St. Patrick's day, except for the pubs, all businesses were closed! Not everyone was at the parade, In order to have a seat in a pub one had to claim it very early in the day (yes the pubs are open that early!) Not only was it standing room only in the pubs the patrons overflowed onto the sidewalks outside!!
don't worry about your daughter. At least she's not hitchhiking over there! She has family waiting for her, and everything is sorted so don't worry mama!! Why didn't you go with!!!
I wore my green today! I've been to Ireland a few times but not on St.Patrick's Day.
wish i were a little leprechaun and i could go in her pocket!
luck o'the irish she has!
