It's interesting your photographs today are maritime related. I'm going sailing this weekend! Seeing as we've never met and I live in NYC, there isn't any way you could have known this, is there? Love your quote so I won't try to add my two sense worth. Happy Weekend everybody. I love being a part of this Everton Terrace community!

I LOVE this picture! The blue of the sea with the quiet strength of the rope, AWESOME!

“I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky; and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.”
John Masefield quotes (British poet, 1878-1967)

Let's hear it for the weekend!!

Love the photo. Looks like something you'd see in the Greek islands.

It does look like a boat in the Greek Island but it is not! It is a ferry in Charleston, S.C. that I rode over to Fort Sumter.

Oh, well knotted old girl. Great pic. Just what we've come to expect at Everton Terrace. Avagoodun!

I love this pic! Lovely 'blue eyes and a smile' and not 'just a load of old rope'.
