things i love thursday...

I did mention we would might talk about bread later.  It's later so let's talk bread shall we?
I realize the audience for this particular thing I love is small (perhaps only me), but I'm so over the moon about my new love, I simply must share.

I have some great gluten-free bread.  It's kind of expensive, but most gluten-free products are.  It's this Glutino bread.  I like this one and the corn variety.  I only use it for toast, it's not super great any other way but I was at least thrilled to be eating toast again.  Like many GF foods, it's the texture that isn't the same.

I should say, the texture wasn't the same until now.  Oh mama is happy now.  Mama is REALLY happy.  I have a new bread.  I'm still giving Glutino the thumbs up but I saw this new brand (to me) in the freezer section at the market (that's where you find most GF bread) and it was on sale so I took a chance.

I'm so very glad I did.  This tastes like bread.  It toasts and gets crispy like real bread.  I've been eating a lot of it lately and it especially rocked with the new panini grill.  This is all good and it's the thing I'm lovin' this Thursday.

They also had this on sale...

I ALMOST hope it doesn't taste equally as good.

yes . . . that's how I felt about Trader Joe's new salt water taffy (hoped it wasn't good) . . . suffice to say, I've finished two bags this week. :|

Funny thing about this daughter of an English woman, I don't like tea. I know, I know. Daughter does. Eating my toast with either avocado or a slice of havarti with dill. Jam WITH the cheese sounds good though...

he gave me instructions on my last visit, eat 1/3 cup of flax seed everyday, whether you put it on your cereal, on your salad, or put in a glass and drink it with water, get it into you body. so i will be trying you flax seed bread! thx!

Thanks Sarah - I put flax seed in almost everything. I throw it in our oatmeal, smoothies, pasta, stir fry etc etc., I like the toasted, husband likes the plain. Oh, it's also in our almond butter. I already follow both of those blogs - they're great. Gluten-Free girl and the chef is my fav.
