Check out this very old dentist table! Coolio I know. The shelves are glass. Love it. Scored at an estate sale for around $30 about 8 years ago. It's one of the only "antiquey" pieces of furniture that made it into this house. We did antique in our previous house but we went with modern here. Love the minimalism of modern, we've completely embraced it. Well, almost. This beauty sits in the corner of my master bath, behind my tub. She goes with the color scheme perfectly - white - and that's why I think it works.
You know what? I never named her. Let's give her a name shall we? Whadda got people???

How about Maude? Don't know why, but the table reminds me of BEE ARTHUR. It's simple and plain, but you know it's there.
Oooooh! I love it! The oldness and the white and the plants. Perfect. My sister always finds great things at estate sales, but I actually haven't ever been to one . . . gonna have to change that!
First of all - she is preciously perfect. Such an eye you have!
Now - the naming. Since she is of the dental persuasion....how about Smiley Toothacher the table, or if it were a he, we could call him Chip Silvertooth.
Miss O. Penwyde, DDS
I also love Maria's suggestion of Chip Silvertooth.
You are all so clever. I am very partial to Maude
Was my mama's name.
i think ms doc holiday, she spent all those years doing dental work now the spa bathroom set up. they say doc holiday was a dentist, you do live in the wild west! tombstone was val kilmers' best movie ever! indeed a very sweet piece whatever you call it!
I love that table.....i've never named one though..
J - I think Maudie would be great - after Nana. But you gotta remember - she will then be bathing with you!!!
Sarah - your comment made me LOL! Doc Holiday was my OB and delivered my 1st child!( I hope he wasn't a dentist!-least not THAT one!) And yes - Tombstone was Val Kilmer's best movie ever!
