four lovely women...

My four favorite women live around the country and every Monday they send me a snapshot from their little corner of this wonderful world.  This is what's going on with them...

Seattle - my daughter.
"Hiking on the Olympic peninsula"

Sedona - my mother.
"Wild Javelina eating breakfast outside our front door"

Aliso Viejo - my friend.
"Jellyfish at the aquarium"

St. Augustine - my cousin.
"Thanksgiving preparations are well underway"

Let's all have a great week!

There's something so magical about these peeks into different parts of the planet. I love the outdoor focus too - I've never seen a javelina before! And the aquarium is just mesmerizing :)

I do enjoy looking to see what the 4 photo's are going to be. Nice job.

I don't understand how jelly fish are alive. They are bizarre creatures...

The jellyfish are so interesting, what a nice pic!
Fun art project for the boys!
It's so cold here right now, looks like matching weather on the peninsula!

Oh my, nature is amazing in your lovely little corner, Jeanette!!
I hope to be celebrating Thanksgiving at least one time in the future, we do not celebrate it in the Netherlands.
Love for a happy week! xxxx

Love the photos posted! The javalina is fabulous. I've never gotten a good photo of one. Is it possible I could copy it to use with my students? One of my favorite stories to read to them is "The Three Little Javelinas" - a version of The Three Little Pigs. Let me know what your mom thinks about me using her photo.

The Seattle picture is just further proof that the Pacific Northwest is some of the most beautiful country!!!
That Sedona picture, however, freaks me out a little bit. He looks like someone I would NOT want to meet in a dark alley or my yard for that matter.
