now...

I think you can do little things, like eat on your fine china and use your good silveware, spray on your expensive perfume and eat dessert - do these things today.  What are you waiting for?  Today is the most special day of your life because it is the only one you really have.  Make your life magical.

Love the quote.

Love the feather.

Love the sentiments.

I do wear my good perfume everyday.

I do use my best best silverware everyday.

I do eat dessert - just not everyday.

I do read the best blogs....everyday.

xx Felicity

Absolutely! I don't really have "good" things and "everyday" things. Just things I like. And if I like it, I use it. :) And you just reminded me to put some perfume on. Thanks! I almost forgot. Hope you are having a great week!

There are so many people I meet living in the "whens" - When the kids are older, etc. They truly are missing the "nows".

my husband laughs when I wear my good perfume for no real reason, but it makes me feel good!

I am getting there! I no longer refer to any of my things as "my good...". I do use the most expensive perfume I own, trying to remember to use it on days I am not leaving the house. I use my favorite silverware (art deco design) however it is not the silver-plated set. I am remembering to wear my pieces of vintage etc. costume jewelry!
Yes, I am getting there!

I remember reading a Dear Abbey years ago and the letter told of a family member who was helping clean out a relatives home. She was so sad seeing the worn nightgown, robe and towels only to discover wonderful new ones, gifts that the aunt had folded and put away. Never used. Saving them for ???

After the fire, divorce and move I don't want or have a lots of things. I have a two sets of dishes I bought in Japan one set from Cost Plus that I love and use all the time.
Plus I wear my Rose perfume every day. It is me !

Great post today !

cheers, parsnip
