his new obsession...

Oh that Andrew Henry he likes a little mystery. 

The photo AH showed you yesterday was the back of our latest find - a 1959 TV, Stereo and Record Player all in one!  We live in a pretty modern house but we both love vintage (me more than him) and mid-century is our favorite.  I wanted something unique to sit underneath our TV and had my fingers crossed I'd find a piece that included a record player - love that scratchy sound that comes from a record don't you?  I've been looking for a year to find something I liked in my bargain price range.  Thank You G-dub!

This piece was looking a little worse for wear when we brought her home but my sweet husband has him some bad fixer upper skills and he got her lookin' like new.  The best part is - he also got everything working again.  We can watch black and white TV (but we don't), listen to the radio or play records.  Mostly we just have a unique piece in our living room for the screamin' deal price of $50.  I'm thrilled.

I think the old gal can hold her own against all the new and modern don't you?

I almost forgot - it even came with the manuals and original store receipt!
