sunrise from our front porch
Yesterday morning I stood at the window as the sun was just starting to light the sky, it was a sea of soft pink clouds and baby blue sky.  The world was waking up, my favorite time of day.  Andrew Henry was outside getting Maggie ready for a morning bike ride, she was jumping and jiving in anticipation and he was laughing and I was smiling at them.  These are the moments of life, just the very best of it and I feel so lucky to have most of my days like this, happy, slow, safe, carefree, peaceful days.

As I checked in on my blog friends there was Debbie reminding me to do something nice for myself and then there was Karena showing me the best way to do just that.  Remember the nicest thing you can do for yourself is to make someone else smile.  A lovely cause that is so very easy to help by just buying a pair of inexpensive pillowcases. Pop over if you can and check it out.

Another great thing to do for yourself is take care of your health.  Read a good piece here about exercising.  Thought you might enjoy it too!

Beautiful picture. I also believe very much in exercise. We can only fully enjoy all those days with health :)

Yes! absolutely a beautiful time of day! I love sunsets but sunrises seem so much quieter. I clicked over to Karena but can't figure out how to order the pillowcases!!

I'm sure my lovely wife has us covered on the pillow cases...

I enjoy exercising, however I've been neglecting it of late. No better time than the present to get back on the plan though.

What a breathtaking photo!
My favorite part of the day as well - just before the troops awake.
So still and quiet. Seems to work like an alarm clock though in this house!
Thanks for all the fun links - each one was a positive addition to my day!
