I still kind of can't believe I went to China. It wasn't something I ever thought about doing but the chance came along and we jumped. It was a bit daunting to figure out how to organize the photos so I just decided to give you glimpses into the days as they progressed.
These were things I saw in Beijing, the ancient, crowded, hustling, bustling, vast city of Beijing...
This carved piece of jade wasn't the biggest or anywhere near the most elaborate piece of art I saw in the jade factory but I think it was my favorite...
Tomorrow maybe we'll visit the Great Wall!

It was an amazing trip. We got to see the ancient and the modern. Both of which were eye opening.
The Chinese people were very nice and seemed to be quite happy. I think they only thing they are really missing is a good pizza place! :-)
Great shots!
The local fayre can be a bit monotonous.
Glorious J, I love the attention to detail in their carving and decoration and the colour = wow!
