talkin' turkey...

I am indulging myself and taking the week off to prepare for Thanksgiving, the daughter coming home for a visit and the hopefully busy weekend in my shops.

Thought you might enjoy this vintage postcard, note the simple New York address from 1919...

I hope all of you, whether celebrating the holiday or not, have a glorious week.  See you next week with some fun before and after photos!

Also wishing a very Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mother today!

Let me know if you'd like my grandmother's fudge recipe. It's a bit of work, but oh so worth it! (I always say, "Never trust a person that doesn't like chocolate." Of course, I never want to discount an unknown friend.)

Happy Thanksgiving!
We took our kids to NYC
for a few days ( first time
for them) and are now
zooming down the tracks
to D.C. to spend the holiday
with my brother's family.
Enjoy all those special moments!
