This is my weekly Friday feature. I send my daughter, who is finishing up her third year of law school in Seattle, WA, a photograph I took and she picks a quote to go with it. So the image is something I photographed that touched me and the words are something she read that touched her. Hopefully, both pieces will be a bit more inspiring as a result...
"Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do not know what they will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country." -Anais Nin
Photo info: Another architecture shot this week - don't know what that's all about. Took this one around 1990 near the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, think it was a museum or something. I liked all the converging lines, different surfaces and the light.

As always, a great pairing!
I am so enjoying these architectural photos you have been posting. Plus the comment so we know where the photo was taken....
I remember (so long ago) the La Brea Tar Pits being smaller that I though but the building that housed them were wonderful.
cheers, parsnip
That is a really great quote.

What a clever, clever quote to match this amazing image.
Loving that there really is a kite shape in the ceiling void and the sentiment in Nin's words is fabulous.
Happy weekend all,
xx
What a great shot - and quote.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
One of my new fav quotes now, and absolute perfection with your photo!
I like all the lines and angles too.
I like the idea of dreams being thrust into the air via a kite. Hopeful soaring. :)
