shop talk...

I only had a little time for treasure hunting on my last San Diego trip, turns out, a little time was all I needed.  I was on my own this time as Andrew Henry was preoccupied with that project I keep mentioning.

Onto my hunting expedition.  I popped out to do a little digging around San Diego - must keep the inventory shelves for my shops full.  Only uncovered one item for my Maude & Lola shop - this pair of busts...

At 13" high, they are a good size but a little clunky to haul around all day.  Unfortunately for me, they were the first thing I found, so I wheeled them here and there in my little cart as I continued my quest for great finds.

Aren't they a sweet pair?  I think they would make interesting bookends.  They are currently displayed on my dining room buffet until someone purchases them.  Sometimes, it's so hard not to keep things.  I must repeat "I am a minimalist" to myself over and over.  Want to name them?  I was kind of thinking Lily for her but don't love it.  I've got no ideas for him.  Ideas?

Jewelry finds tomorrow!

In keeping with the flower theme, how about Sakura (cherry blossom) for her and Ren (lotus) for him? Whatever you call them, they are lovely. :)

No names. If we name them you will have to keep them. :-)
