This is a glimpse into our past week as seen through the eyes of my husband, Andrew Henry.
Andrew Henry says: Jeanette and I watched 8mm home movies on this in the dining room last night. The movies, from the late 1940s and early 1950s, were not from either of our families. Jeanette got a case of them to sell in her shop but she wanted to watch them first to make sure they were all above deck so to speak. I set up this old projector and we made a night of it. It was cool.
Jeanette says: So far we have watched troops in Korea, a vacation in Hawaii, flying over the Golden Gate bridge into San Francisco, Seattle scenes, Idaho and Niagara Falls. I loved seeing the few women and their fabulous vintage clothes. We have many more to watch!
Here is how they looked on the wall - old school fun.
Thanks again for all the notes and kind words about the sudden passing of my cousin.
Much appreciated. I needed the time but am ready to ease back into things now. Looking forward to seeing what you've all been up to.
