andrew henry's world...

This is a glimpse into our past week as seen through the eyes of my husband, Andrew Henry.

Andrew Henry says:  It was an action packed weekend with our daughter home from Seattle, which made it hard to choose what photograph to use.   I could have shown the swank restaurant we went to for dinner Friday night or the relaxing resort breakfast Saturday morning at our favorite place.  I could have shown you the great view of the city from the top of our morning family hike or my two girls all dressed up as they left for their bridal shower.  There was a delicious red velvet cake Jeanette brought to our friend's house Saturday night for a birthday celebration and there are always new pictures of Tinley to share.  I don't think you would enjoy seeing the bed of my pickup truck filled with the branches from the tree I spent most of Sunday trimming, but you might like to see my new car.  New to me anyway.  I bought this on Saturday.

It's a vintage 1982 Mercedes convertible.  We think it looks timeless and you know we both love vintage things.

Jeanette says:
He looks great in his new car.
I prefer to drive my old Jeep.
I miss our daughter already but she'll be back in 27 days!

Swisho!
I can see you both cruising the tarmac in Old Hollywood style - very, very stylish.

I LOVE that car. I think anyone would look good in it. But I have to say it would really suite me too! So glad you had a great weekend.

My dad had a classic red model like yours - so fun to drive! So is Tinley allowed to cruise along too?
Sounds like a stellar weekend!

Of course she! There is a little bench type thing behind the two seats and she fits perfectly - has already been for a ride :)

congrats! looks beautiful- My first car was a (vintage) 1982 white BMW- I shipped it with me when I moved to the Caribbean at 22- and sold it when I moved back to the mainland-- I like to think she's enjoying the sweet life still.
