Mmmmmm - It's Foto Friday!I can smell that from here!Luscious!
What a beautiful photo! Such a lovely colour. Today, after reading your previous post, I bought my Dad some Fig and Sherry Conserve from the Gourmet shop - he loves figs. Thanks for giving me the idea!
Fig and Sherry Conserve sounds divine!!
You've got to stop and smell the roses. You've got to count your many blessings every day. You've got to find your way to Heaven, it's a rough and rocky road if you don't stop and smell the roses along the way.Thank You for my Mac Davis flashback. J9
A poetic way to remind us it is better to give than to receive. Great Image. I like the idea of taking a hint of the color out of the flowers (you did right?), they are often overdone with color or left to black and white, which wouldn't work as well with this. Great job all the way 'round. As usual.
Jeanette!! Do you still like me now that you know I'm an old hag!!! ha ha.. Thanks for your comment...yes brother went to NAU...It was a fab time then...Sedona totally undiscovered...I mean there was nothing..no shops no hotel...na da...too bad we didn't buy a little property there...weeee. "A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle." and "Those who bring sunshine to the light of others cannot keep it from themselves." Some of my favorite quotes.
Oh daughter, you are so full of wisdom. Those quotes are better. I'm going to let you do the quotes from now on. Yes, great idea. I'll post the images and all of you can caption them. You've always been my inspiration.
Here is a quote that works for today - April 16th.The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax. Albert Einstein.
What does that have to do with the roses image? Wasn't yesterday tax day? I'M the crazy one?
Ooh, that photo's gorgeous! p.s.~ The dog is a cocker spaniel mix, her name is Lea, and tragically she's not mine, but I'm fighting hard to win the honor of dogsitting her!
The colors in this photo are beautiful!
If roses were called onions, would they still smell like roses?
