I don't get too many "reader requests". The other one was to show more of my photographs. I'm a pleaser. Always want everyone to be happy, so, for you Sheridan, I will start a Wednesday afternoon feature of "vintage finds". Wednesday mornings are already reserved for our Pagoda series. I've also decided to post 2-3 images on Fridays for those craving more photography.
Here is a great score from about a year ago. A sassy mid-century kind of modern clutch purse in mint condition. I think I paid about $5 for it. There is virtually NO room in it for anything except a little cash and maybe a lipstick, what else do you really need anyway? I'd love to have a bolt of this fabric to recover a mid-century chair I just got (thanks again mom!).

Mine would contain lipstick wrapped around a £20,(being inventive here) comb, credit card.
Gettng a bit anxious here.... am I allowed to keep my mobile on my person somewhere else or does it have to remain in the car?? Chris
I think Chris cheated. Lipstick, $100 bill, key to my vintage mercedes - ha it's a game right!
It depends...if I am driving then def my license, Debit card (for charging and getting cash from an ATM), cellphone, with which I can take pics.
my blackberry, lipstick (will have to be a luscious redish-orange to go with that purse!), $$(any form)and I'll stick my key in my bra :-D
Ladies - think of the shoes we get to buy to go with that purse - OH - something strappy please!!!
Paper money, (I don't have to specify amount do I?) tinted lip balm (very dry lips and lipstick or gloss just doesn't do the trick) and cell phone.

everyone who has commented (except Lisa and Maria) is officially locked out of their houses and cars. Surely keys are almost as important as chapstick and money. Otherwise you're giving the money to the locksmith and applying your lipgloss as you wait hours for him to arrive. :)
Ha Kelly, astute observation. I didn't think of it because my husband always carries our keys in his pocket.
I have hired a chauffeur and have an electronic combination garage door opener outside my garage for getting back in to my house. Tnis is fantasy is it not?
