vintage finds...

Perhaps I'll have to limit the number of purses we cover in "vintage finds", but not today.  Today, I'm sharing another classic (and newly acquired) clutch.

Look at that beauty all puckered up in rectangular glory.  I adore a purse with an unusual shape. I think rectangle and circle are my favorite.  Oh, and don't miss the extra special touch.

The handle.  Just look at that vintage bakelite goodness.  I fear I might weep.  Don't you think it would pair beautifully with this vintage ivory necklace.

I have this necklace sitting here at my desk.  It has been cleaned and photographed and is waiting to be placed in my shop.  It's just that, well, it would look lovely with that clutch don't you think...

I think you wear it at least once - with the purse, and then decide if it goes in the shop. Those that buy vintage usually have the understanding that a piece has been worn in the past, at least once :-D
Gorgeous though - both of them. Perfect pairings for that little black dress,(and a great pair of heels!) or something wonderfully understated and sophisticated like that.

Necklace is just right for that bag. Is it a dark brown or black? I prefer gold jewelry with brown. The very term vintage does mean worn and worn for decades is completely acceptable. Wear it, and then give it to me! I've got the perfect summer dress and heeled sandal sitting in my closet just waiting.

I would have a tough time letting either of these go! I especially adore that necklace!

Ooh, I like the idea of a circle purse. I've never owned a circle purse.

Now I feel all deprived.

That necklace is to die for, Jeanette! Not only do you make stunning jewelry, clearly you have a great eye for finding it, too! Great combination! XO!
