things i love thursday...

I really just shouldn't try new chocolate treats because it's a rare day when I find one I don't like.  Picked this one up to have a sweet while we worked the craft fair.  It's different and delicious.  My tastebuds loved it and of course my hips did not.  WHY do the tastebuds always win?

We scored these bedside water carafes at a garage sale last week.  They still have the $35 Banana Republic tags on them and we got them for $4 a piece - go us!  I thought they'd be perfect in the guest room and Andrew Henry wants them in our bedroom - will let you know who wins.

Last thing I'm lovin' this week.  I've been dogsitting for my momma while she recovers.

That's Daisy and she is possibly the MOST energetic 8 month old lab puppy in the world but she's a bundle of sugar and we're in love love love.

Whatcha lovin' this week?

PS - I also LOVE Kirsten over at Tollipop and she's having a silent auction today to help raise money for a friend.  Do stop by, her artwork is wonderful (I own 2 of her pieces).

Love that chocolate - and sweet Daisy.
Agree with AH - you have those Ikea bottles for the guest room!

I love the Lord - and thank Him for seasons - for I LOVE this time of year - right on up to the summer! Then I love that too!

Happy Birthday Stacey!

I'm loving everything here! Oh, sweet Daisy (dog lust starting up), and I would never say no to chocolate (My hips protest too! But have you tried the intense orange Lindt :)). You're inspiring me to run out and get a Black Currant Lindt bar.

I am a purist! Cadbury's chocolate every time! (Lindt mint choc is pretty good!). One of the reasons I love this time of year is the availability of boxed, Cadbury's chocolate biscuits, actually made in U.K. and not by Hershey, in Pennsylvania! Bought my 'first' of a few boxes a couple of weeks ago, scrumptious!
By the way, Daisy is 14 months old now, understandable mistake as we have had her for 8 months, she hasn't slowed down yet!
Those water bottles would go well in your bedroom.

I think I will lose the carafe battle. No biggie. They are really cool.

Little miss Daisy has been a great house guest. My right arm is just getting in shape (throwing the tennis ball) and it's time for her to go home...

Today I'm lovin -
My day off from work.
The house to myself.
My tuna casserole & apple cider lunch.
The golden autumn leaves on the crimson maple tree right that's outside my dining room window.
The quiet before the storm.

Happy Birthday Stacey!
