vintage finds wednesday...

Finds this week come from two weeks ago as I haven't actually left the house for 9 days now (except the doc visit).  Such a glamorous life I lead sometimes.  Scored big time at the last auction.  It was paradise for this jewelry shop owner, came home with many many treasures...

I was like a kid in a candy store.  Isn't it fabulous?  A few pieces are already in my shop, more to come soon.

The following were at a garage sale.  Now, if your home is named "Pagoda", how could you leave these $2 items on the table?   I couldn't that's for sure.

and how cool are these very old dice?  They are made from bone - look how uneven the hand carved numbers are.  I picked them up at the same auction I got all the jewelry.  Why?  I might be opening another shop - vintage accessories.

I'll keep you informed on that one.

Still a little time left to enter my necklace giveaway!

great finds!! the jewelry reminds me of the lovely pieces my grandmother had when I was young. Love the vintage die- they'd be cute in a bowl on a coffee table :)

Wonderful finds. Love the brooches. And love the old dice as well - we are big dice players and my husband has several different sets with old dice!

OMG - Are old dice like these where they came up with the old phrase 'roll the bones'????

I think YES!

Wow you really did find some wonderful pieces.
I use to wear broaches all the time even when they weren't in style and you have found some lovely ones. The Strawberry one is fabulous.

Sounds like you might be getting better !
