she read, she saw...

This is my weekly Friday feature. I send my daughter, who is finishing up her third year of law school up in Seattle, WA, a photograph I took and she picks a quote to go with it.  So the image is something I photographed that touched me and the words are something she read that touched her. Hopefully, both pieces will be a bit more inspiring as a result...

"Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us dragons can be beaten." -G.K. Chesterton

Photo: I took this photo in the south of England - the ruins of Berry Pomeroy castle.

Have a super weekend everybody!

Especially now that I've met you and your radiant daughter, these Friday posts are so cool. The picture is incredible!

As for the being here now thing, well, it's a life=long practice even for the Dalai Lama. One step at a time. x

If only there was time to tell about the adventure of finding the Berry Pomeroy Castle... :-o

It involved a pheasant, a fox and a misguided GPS.

Wonderful !

I remember reading in a book when the map makers were drawing maps and didn't know what was in certain areas they would just say/draw... "here be dragons"

Love Dragons !

cheers, parsnip
