vintage finds wednesday...

I went to the auction last week (yes I go almost every week) to get some jewelry for my Etsy shop, Everton Terrace.  To be more specific, I knew they were auctioning off some owl necklaces and I wanted them.  Owls are big right now, those cute little birds are everywhere and I wanted some on my virtual shelves.  It got down to me and one baseball cap wearing fellow - I put my ninja auction moves on him and brought home all the owls.  Go me!

There are some little ones...

medium sized...

some snowy white ones...

and a rather expensive signed Eisenberg enamelled one...

I also brought home an elegant Branch Coral necklace...

and some wonderful Victorian Mosaic pieces...

That's really all I brought home, except these lovely turn of the century master salt dishes for my Maude & Lola shop - or you know, my holiday dining table - jury is still out on this one.

A rather light but productive time at the auction this week.

A big bloggy world THANK YOU to Hampton Hostess for the book I won yesterday.  She has fabulous taste and a lovely blog - go stop by and tell her hello!

You did well!! The master salts are beautiful.
I don't know about the Ninja moves but the auction face can be scary!

Wowee Jeanette... YOU SCORED!!!
I would love to know your auction moves, I'm totally lame at auctions.
I still can't believe I won those ginger jars. Someone told me to just keep my paddle up.
Auctions scare me. I need your mojo :)

I had the middle
owl in the first
picture when I was
in junior high! Oh
how I wish I'd kept
it, now! I'll have
to snoop around your
shop and see if it
turns up. Sweet auction
finds!
