she read, she saw...

Not our usual she read, she saw post today.  Three big cheers because my daughter is coming home for the weekend tomorrow so I'm checking out a day early this week - priorities and all.  She is in her first wedding since being a flower girl about 20 years ago.  The bridal shower is this weekend - the first of many to come I suppose.

This is a magnet she gave me.  It's right here next to me in my studio.  Makes me smile (and wish my legs were still that skinny).

Hope you all have a super weekend and I'm hoping it won't be over 100 degrees here like it was last weekend!

Even if it is 100 degrees, I'm still SO EXCITED TO COME HOME!

Lovely! So glad you get to steal a little time together! I hope my kiddos feel that way about me when they grow up :-) (and I about them - LOL) If we take your temp, and my current temp - and average them - we would land squarely in the low 80s -far better than either one of us if fairing at the moment! Happy weekend all!

Looking forward to a granddaughter hug! Thunder and rain here but a welcome respite from the unusual high temps for April!

I hope that my son and I will maintain the close relationship that we have now through adulthood like you and your daughter. She is beautiful and it's so great how close you are.

Enjoy your time together.
