a little fun fun...

I'm easing back into blogland.  I don't know for how long but I've got a few things to share and am anxious to see what you've all been up to while I was away.

To keep things short on my first dip back into the water, I'm just going to share a quick story.  Have something longer planned for tomorrow.

This is a cute photo essay found in BusinessInsider.com.
As you scroll down, take a look at the photos posted right after the cute couple who immigrated from Peru.  If you've read my blog for a while, you might recognize those shots.

Yep!  Those are my parents.

The author saw my original post here and asked my permission to use them in her article.  When things like this happen around our house, we like to say it's just a little fun fun.

As a side note:  this is also the church where my daughter's high school graduation ceremony was held.  Have you ever taken "then and now" photos?  I took a photo of my daughter in the same spot at Disneyland many times over the years - fun to see her grow and change like that.  I'll have to dig those up...

What a wonderful idea to celebrate long-loving couples!

I love the composition of the original picture of your parents' wedding day and the symbolism of the surroundings the photographer chose!

So good to see you again,
cheers,
Merisi

So cute! Love the "then and now", just like AH likes the "before and after".

How lovely to see them then and now! I love the comparison of old and new photos, so neat to see the changes. :)
