she read, she saw

I love photographs.
My daughter loves words.
I choose a photograph I have taken and she chooses a quote to pair with it.
Hopefully, together, they are a little more meaningful.

"If I have seen farther, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants" - Isaac Newton

Photo info:  Took this one high on a hill in Delphi, Greece about 6 years ago.  Fascinating place.  I was, of course, sick, but still, amazing. I like how you can see the holes where there once was ornamentation.  Must have been even that much more beautiful.   It makes me think of friendship, but my daughter went somewhere else with it.

Dearest Jeanette, I too love to combine words with images or my own art. I would LOVE to see Greece and envelope myself in the history and muse of words that would be fitting to express my impressions.

Thank you so kindly for coming to visit my post and for the wonderful words. Yes, I love to make an EXPERIENCE of a blog post with not only words and photos, but with music and moving images. Enjoy. Anita

The holes make me think something in metal is missing.
Liking the photo and the quote.

I love the open arms of friendship and now you have me thinking what kinds of embellishments they would have!

I think she is about to cover her friend's eyes and say: "Guess who."
Best,
