This summer, while I've been out wandering the flea markets, swap meets and estate sales, looking for items for my Etsy shops, my daughter has often tagged along.

There is only one thing that really captures her interest.
One thing she collects.
One thing she can't live without.
Her first love really.
Books.

These are a few of the books she has picked up over the summer.  I don't know the rhyme or reason of her choices but I know it's hard for her to walk by them, and even harder for her to let them go once she's read them.

What's the last book you read?

Your daughter has a
wonderful eye ~ these
to me, are eye candy!
I belong to the Friends
of the Library and try to
attend all their sales ~
$1 per hardback means
that I can indulge : )

My daughter would love
the book with the fox on
the spine ~ so sweet!

Sounds like a perfect
summer adventure.

the camera manual seems to keep topping my stack of books to read. But I always have a book near at hand to read.

Your daughter and the Fashionista are so alike. We keep adding bookshelves in her condo and she keeps filling them.

I am currently reading "A Separate Peace".

Lovely photo today.
One of the newer pills I am taking make it somewhat hard to concentrate, I used to read three books at a time. So I am trying easy summer reading with Agatha Christie's "Dumb Witness" The dog is the main character.

Just finished the children's version of Pilgrim's Progress.
My B LOVES books too.
Spends hours reading and pouring over them - even at just turning 8....love this about him.

I love old books - they just look so beautiful on a shelf. I'm reading Emily Griffin's new book Where We Belong. :)

Hi Jeanette! I know how you feel. I just came back to blogging after a long unexpected hiatus. It was a good break but it feels good to be back. Enjoy it!
