four lovely women...

My four favorite women live around the country and every Monday they send me a snapshot from their little corner of this wonderful world. This is what's going on with them...

Seattle, WA - my daughter
"Making jalapeno hummus dip, delicious."

Sedona, AZ - my mother
"Stopped to look at the beautiful light on the historic Rosson House while down in Phoenix"

Aliso Viejo, CA - my friend
"Birds eye view"

St. Augustine, FL - my cousin
"What heaven looks like to my 6 year old boy"

Thank you all so very much for the well wishes last week.  Doctor seen, antibiotics starting to work their magic and I'm almost back in the saddle again.  Missed you all and looking forward to making the rounds and catching up with what's been going on.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway and of course to have a great week!

So glad to hear you're feeling better - lovely shots as usual. Although that donut is a little too "frosted" for my tastes - I'm a salt girl! Looking forward to your resuming your musings.

So funny - two foodies and two outdoorsy ones!
I too prefer the hummus (yumm-o MJM!) to the donut (as does my littlest one) but for the elder boy, yep donut=Heaven!

Love that historic house - I truly have a "thing" for historic things.

So glad you are on the mend!
A Blessed week to everyone!

Happy to hear that you're getting well. Since i have a spicy palette, i am drawn to the jalapeno hummus-yum, yum! The hubby on the other hand would love that doughnut! Happy Monday my friend. XX

I wish I could come make Caldo Verde: Smiter of Colds for you. It's a chicken broth based, spicy soup of potatoes, chorizo and kale. Kicks ass and takes names, it does. I imagine viruses shrinking away in horror at the mere name of this soup.

Ah but I can't come be a Jewish mother, fuss over you. Actually, that's probably a blessing, eh?

Take good care! Later, after you're bored, remember about the beauty, OK? xx

Good to hear you're feeling better. Love the pic with the bird and those blocks look like mini pics within the shot. xo Cathy

Oh, I KNEW there was a six year old involved with the doughnut! They are so easily made happy at that sweet age. xo

there was a time (even as an adult)when I would have chosen the doughnut! Today the hummus would be my choice. I do love that my girls enjoy cooking (and baking)!
Nice shot of the bird and the distant mountains.
The Rosson House is also beautiful inside.
Hope you continue to feel stronger each day.

I've always been a savory girl, but pasta is my vice. Just as much sugar as that donut!
