a time out...

This is what happens when you are in the middle of eating lunch at your desk, paying the gas bill and loading jewelry into your new shop and you decide to take a little time out for a Valentines Day craft.  That's normal isn't it?

Yes, I need to sit and eat like a normal person, finish paying the bills and get more jewelry in my shop (MUCH easier to sell it if it's actually IN there).  Finishing before I start the next project would bring much more peace to my currently messy and sleep deprived life.  I know this.  I really do - before I loaded these photo's and posted this, I paid the gas bill, so that's something.

It's just......well.....look how cute this turned out.  It's a surprise for my daughter.  Don't look down daughter!  I'm going to go to the post office and mail it now.  I'll finish my lunch later.

I do have a few pieces in my Everton Terrace Etsy shop so if you're into vintage jewelry (or someone you know is) - stop by for some window shopping.........http://www.etsy.com/shop/evertonterrace

Thanks Jeanine, it's just a simple Valentine garland - cut some hearts out of different papers (newspaper whatever), punch some holes and thread in some string (I used velvet ribbon), simple, pretty and crazy easy.

What a simple and creative way to make a Valentine garland with my kids who do not celebrate the holiday as those in America do. On our ageda for this snowy French day
