it just doesn't get better...
Walking along the beach each morning, collecting shells, watching the sun come up, the birds, the seals and even a few dolphins was paradise. You people who live by the water are very lucky.
I love my warm desert sun (except in summer) and I'm not ready to leave Phoenix but there is just something about the water isn't there?
Here is our little trip in a nutshell...
The cuteness factor was pretty high, frolicking Pandas - seriously.
the light in this old church was gorgeous and the stations of the cross paintings were done by DeGrazia...
post yesterday) but I can tell you it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. every. single. mouthful. I'm full of regret that I didn't stuff myself more or bring a purse to smuggle some out. We did some good eatin' on this trip my friends...
The company of course. She'll be home in 2 weeks so it wasn't as hard to say goodbye this time.
I hope those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful time as well.

Thank you from the bottom of my corsage making heart for your kind comments.
Wow, what an awesome trip you had! Every photo was simply amazing - love the photo of your daughter, the magical La Jolla captures, all that deliciousness (MmmMmmm...kiwi lemonade). The frolicking pandas were too painfully CUTE!
I know what you mean about not being quite so hard to say goodbye when they will be returning in a few weeks!
What a lovely time!!! Thanks for sharing the JOY.
Hugs for a great day...tomorrow is December...Happy dance. oxoxox
It was such a wonderful trip, but it did make coming back to Seattle pretty depressing. Good thing I get to go home soon!
Great shots! Fabulous trip!
What a fabulous trip! I do love being by the water. I lived half a block from the ocean in a funky little beach town when I was 21. After that I decided that I can never be very far from the ocean. Right now I'm about 2 miles away. I bet the zoo was fun! And yay for daughters coming home for Christmas! Oh, and that tree (and the girl) is stunning!
Great job putting those photos together. That was a great trip. Looking at the photos makes me realize how lucky we were to have gone. Just a few more weeks until the X-mas memories begin.
Sounds like an amazing time!
What a great way to spend the Thanksgiving holiday! Can relate to sending them off - have three in college and can't wait till they get home again for Christmas!
New here - will definitely be back!
Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving getaway, it looked perfectly perfect! And I know what you mean about getting to see them again in 2 weeks!! Yeah!!!

wish i could have seen you! i did not know about the degrazia paintings. wonder if my mom does. will have to check that out next time i am down in san diego area.
a beautiful post Jeanette. Your family is so beautiful and you are one lucky lady to be so close with them. English husband does most of his work in La Jolla. Lots of beautiful huge houses have stuff made by him. He goes there once/twice a week to install etc. I live about three miles from the beach and I rarely go there?! I mean it when I say, Tell me next time and I’ll drive down (hr. or so driving time) and we’ll hook up for a drink! Thanks for entering my Giveaway...
Great photos- I love SD- such a great
Those open faced sandwiches look AMAZING!!!
What an amazing trip; La Jolla is the best! Everything looks perfect and mostly I'm sure your sweet girl will be home in two weeks. Next time you get to San Diego, come see me in Rancho Santa Fe on Sunday!! xxoo

What a wonderful trip, and isn't it always easier leaving your child when you know you'll see them soon!!
