she read, she saw

This is my weekly Friday feature. I send my daughter, who is in interning in D.C. for the summer, a photograph I've taken and she sends me back a quote she feels goes with it. So the image is something I photographed that touched me and the words are something she read that touched her. Hopefully, both pieces will be a bit more inspiring as a result...

I took this one about 20 years ago.  That's my daughter on the left, she still has very small feet.

I hope you all have a super weekend and I'll see you on the flipside.

I dreamed I was being chased by a turtle. Does this mean I shall become turtle fodder?

Small feet and hands! Unlike gigantor over here...can't sell mini gloves. Meg, your mom needs your dainty hands! :)

What an adorable pic! And the perfect quote to go along with it.
I can't get over that sandstorm - it really does look like something out of a movie. We've been getting some off and on in Dubai as well but certainly nothing as ominous as that! But I was chewing on some Iranian dirt (apparently that's where ours was coming from)
