| I was amazed when I took this but that was more about being amazed I was finally in Paris I think. |
This made me think of the ruins in Pompeii, now those blew my mind, so perhaps they were the most amazing, but my gut was telling me I was picking them by default.
I thought of all the standard kind of answers of things I have seen and thought were amazing.
A baby being born.
Those Cirque Du Soleil people I saw in Vegas did things that amazed me.
The Acropolis in Greece.
The Grand Canyon.
My daughter riding a bike around Washington D.C. (trust me on this one, I never thought I would see that)
Then I thought of smaller things that took my breath away.
So many sunrises and sunsets.
Whales and dolphins in the ocean.
A swarm of butterflies.
Lots of stuff on youtube is amazing.
Fresh snow on the red rocks in Sedona (wait beautiful and amazing - a difference right?)
I'm stumped. I mean THE most amazing is a challenge. I can't decide if I'm jaded and think nothing is amazing or if I just live in a state of wonder and think everything is amazing. The commercial also said perhaps you haven't seen the most amazing thing yet - yes maybe that's it.
I'm going to China next week, maybe I'll see the MOST amazing thing I've ever seen there. I'll let you know.

i agree, I can't really answer that! I think it's the small things though :) and china?!! i'm jealous...that will be amazing. take a lot of pictures, ok????

you are so lucky to be traveling to China--I would love to go! I don't know whats the most amazing thing I've ever seen--I hope I haven't seen it yet!
Great post Jeanette. At one point I thought the most amazing thing I would EVER see was the underwater world in Micronesia. I was a new diver - and it truly was magnificent. Then we lived in Alaska and were treated to an unbelievable show of the northern lights. As those colors literally danced through the sky, I KNEW I would never see anything so wonderful. Then a while later I was driving through the outskirts of Spokane and there were "amber waves of grain". Chills. Anything more magnificent? I don't know - there is so much out there, I can't wait to see what strikes me next!

X-Rays and Cat. Scans, we sort of take them for granted but producing images of the inside of our bodies!
I'm with the majority, so many amazing sights, I don't know what I consider the most amazing I have seen.

great perspective on this post, friend! though it hasn't happened yet, i think the most amazing thing i'll ever see will be my children's faces. that miracle is awaiting one day!

Hard to choose. Coming face to face with my daughter after she was born. Seeing artifacts from the French Revolution when in Paris,our history (non indigenous) in Australia is very young by comparison.
Something that will always stay in my mind is my daughters first long sentence "Look Mummy, lots and lots of bubbles" when I was washing the car. Previous to that it was pretty much Mum-mum Dad-dad and Ta!
I always find those huge golden full moons that seem to take up the sky absolutely amazing.
...and on a funny note, the fact that my aged parents haven't throttled each other to death by now!!
That's such a hard question because things are amazing in different ways, you know? How can you pick what's more amazing- ruins or a baby smiling? way too different to compare!

This is a hard question Jeanette! I cannot pick just one either. If you narrow it down to regions, in China I would say The Great Wall as that was very impressive to walk on.

I definitely have told everyone that they must HIKE the Grand Canyon at some point in their lives. Egypt was pretty amazing I must say. Being inside the first true pyramid known with just two other people in the middle of the desert was just like being in an Indiana Jones movie.
